The transportation system in NYC with the maximum efficiency
achieved through combining different transportation methods
The Lost and Found portal locates under the intersection of 14th Street and Avenue A. Being part of the larger public transportation network, the portal embodies the non-linear and semi-transient characteristics of the public transportation system in New York City and ritualizes the process of retrieving lost objects.

the most efficient
space-filling geometry


The module based on the Weaire-Phelan structure combines to form
the overhead passageway and the lower lost and found vaults
